Provocateur: Clive Hamilton

  • The Carrington Hotel 15-47 Katoomba Street Katoomba, NSW, 2780 Australia (map)

Join Clive Hamilton and Richard Glover as they explore why questioning the status quo matters and how powerful arguments can change the country we live in. Hear Clive share his blueprint for changing public debate in our increasingly uncertain times, and why a life of ideas in action actually works.

Clive Hamilton is an author and academic whose influential books include Silent InvasionGrowth Fetish and Defiant Earth: The Fate of Humans in the Anthropocene. For 14 years he was the Executive Director of The Australia Institute, a think tank he founded.

Richard Glover is one of Australia’s most recognised radio presenters, journalists and authors. Richard has authored many books, including Flesh Wounds, The Land Before Avocado and his most recent book Best Wishes. He writes regularly for The Washington Post and presents Drive on ABC Radio Sydney.

This event is proudly sponsored by Werriberri.
