Hot off the press comes the illustrated poetry anthology, In Case of Fire: Poems from the Blue Mountains. Rising from the ashes of the Black Summer and the challenges that followed, illustrator Michel Streich teamed up with poet Michelle Rickerby to curate a collection that celebrates the richly poetic heart of the Blue Mountains. Join us at The Avalon to listen to prominent and emerging local writers.

Michelle Rickerby was once a writer/producer of short form content for children’s television, and wrote film reviews in London. She held senior roles at ABC Commercial and WestWords, curated art exhibitions and produced literary events across greater Western Sydney.
