NATURE IS HEALING Nadine J. Cohen and Rebecca Huntley in conversation

  • Baroque Room, The Carrington Hotel 15-47 Katoomba Street Katoomba, NSW, 2780 Australia (map)

The ocean, unlikely friendships and the powerful possibilities of MDMA. Two acclaimed authors talk getting back to nature in the face of grief and trauma in this soul-searching conversation.

Shortlisted for the Small Publishers’ Adult Book of the Year and the Matt Richell Award for New Writer of the Year at the 2024 ABIAs, Nadine Cohen’s funny and tender debut novel Everyone and Everything sees its protagonist find solace in surprising places, forming connections through daily visits to McIver’s Ladies Baths in Sydney’s Eastern suburbs. In Sassafras, renowned social researcher Rebecca Huntley chronicles her unconventional path to healing, including treatments with the party drug MDMA.
