How do writers get their work done? What do writers do with their days? Hear how these writers get down to the business of writing, making space and working a day job. Hosted by Anwen Crawford.

This event is presented in partnership with Western Sydney University and the Writing and Society Research Centre.

Sunil Badami is a writer, academic, storyteller and broadcaster who has written for many of Australia's leading papers and magazines, including The Sydney Morning Herald, The Good Weekend and The Australian.

Eda Gunaydin is a Turkish-Australian essayist whose writing explores class, race, diaspora and Western Sydney. Her debut essay collection Root & Branch was published in 2022.

Luke Carman’s debut work of fiction, An Elegant Young Man, won the 2014 NSW Premier’s New Writing Award and was shortlisted for the ALS Gold Medal, the Steele Rudd Short Story Prize and the Readings New Writing Award.

Anwen Crawford is a Sydney-based writer, critic and visual artist. She is the author of No Document (2021) which was shortlisted for the 2022 Stella Prize, and Live Through This (2015).
