PRAISEWORTHY Alexis Wright (via Zoom) in conversation with Ivor Indyk

  • Ballroom, The Carrington Hotel 15-47 Katoomba Street Katoomba, NSW, 2780 Australia (map)

Without doubt, the book everyone is talking about in 2024, don’t miss this chance to hear from the multi-award-winning author of Praiseworthy, the first book to have received both the Stella Prize and the Miles Franklin Award, and the first author to win the Stella Prize twice.

Described as “the most ambitious and accomplished Australian novel of this century” by the New York Times Book Review, Praiseworthy is an epic set in the north of Australia, told with the richness of language and scale of imagery for which Alexis Wright has become renowned. Providing not only a deep knowledge of the text, but also the capacity to explore the author-publisher relationship, Alexis (via Zoom) is joined in conversation by director of Giramondo Publishing Company, Ivor Indyk.

Please note that Alexis Wright will be appearing via Zoom
