Michelle Brasier
Michelle Brasier is an actor, singer, comedian and screenwriter known for her work with Aunty Donna. Credits include Shaun Micallef’s Mad As Hell, Aunty Donna’s Big Old House Of Fun, Aunty Donna’s Coffee Cafe, Koala Man, YOLO, The 100 with Andy Lee, The Project and Thank God You’re Here. Her one woman comedy-as-philosophy shows have sold out seasons across Melbourne, Sydney, London, NY, LA and Edinburgh. Michelle has won several awards for her work including a Green Room Award for Best Writing, Directors’ Choice Melbourne Comedy Festival and Sydney Comedy Festival Directors Choice, as well as a coveted nomination for Most Outstanding Show at MICF.
Her debut solo hour Average Bear, described by the Sydney Morning Herald as ‘a miracle of a show’ is the basis of her memoir My Brothers Ashes Are In A Sandwich Bag, published in 2024. It tells the story of Michelle’s life living in the shadow of a potentially life shortening illness.
