Shankari Chandran
Shankari Chandran is an Australian Tamil lawyer and the author of Unfinished Business, Song of the Sun God, Chai Time at Cinnamon Gardens and The Barrier.Chai Time at Cinnamon Gardens won the 2023 Miles Franklin Literary Award. Her short stories have been published in Sweatshop anthologies and she is the deputy chair of Writing NSW. She lives in Sydney with her husband and four children.
Her latest book Safe Haven was published in May 2024.
