Richard Glover
Richard Glover is the bestselling author of The Land Before Avocado and Flesh Wounds, the latter of which won the Readers’ Choice for Biography of the Year in the 2016 ABIA Awards and was described as ‘a breathtaking accomplishment in style and empathy’ by The Australian.
His latest book Best Wishes was published in October 2023. A leading presenter on ABC Radio Sydney, Richard’s weekly humour column has been published in the Sydney Morning Herald for over 30 years. He writes regularly for The Washington Post and London’s Evening Standard and presents the top-rating Drive show on ABC Radio Sydney. He has a Bachelor of Arts with first-class honours from the University of Sydney and is secretary of the NSW Journalists' Benevolent Fund. He lives with the playwright Debra Oswald; they have two sons.
