While riding the wave of being in one of the biggest bands in the world, Jim Moginie was also on a much more personal journey. For years he pursued a burning question about who his birth family was, from the suburbs of Canberra all the way to rural Ireland.
Jim’s memoir, The Silver River, is the Midnight Oil story you haven’t heard – a tale of music, family, belonging, and how he managed to hang on to humility while being on a personal and professional rollercoaster. He is joined in conversation with ABC Radio Sydney’s Richard Glover.
