ASK A SILLY QUESTION, GET A CLEVER ANSWER Dr Karl, Professor David Lindenmayer and Bianca Nogrady

  • Katoomba Community Centre 81-83 Katoomba Street Katoomba, NSW, 2780 Australia (map)

Don’t miss this incredible chance to ask burning questions about climate change and the environment, with three people who REALLY know what they’re talking about.

Dr Karl just loves science to pieces, and has been spreading the word for more than 30 years. The author of 48 books, he has degrees in physics and mathematics, biomedical engineering, medicine and surgery, and loves sharing his knowledge with kids and adults alike.

Meanwhile, Professor David Lindenmayer is a world-leading expert in forest and woodland ecology, resource management, conservation science and biodiversity conservation, with an impressive 49 books to his name!

Dr Karl and David are joined for this family-friendly, interactive event by the Blue Mountains’ own Bianca Nogrady, a freelance science journalist, author and broadcaster and founding president of the Science Journalists Association of Australia.

This isn’t your usual science classroom, no question is too silly, and no one’s work is being marked!

This venue is wheelchair accessible, but please visit our Accessibility page or email hello@bluemountainswritersfestival.com.au if you have any other accessibility requirements.

Blue Mountains Writers’ Festival will have Auslan interpreters available for the Festival and will schedule them into sessions on request. Please complete the Auslan request question at checkout.
