Hear from Co-Chair of the Australian Republic Movement and former Socceroo Craig Foster in conversation with political and social commentator David Marr as they reflect on issues facing the global sporting arena, and the intersection of diversity and social justice. 

Craig Foster’s 20-year, triple-Logie-winning broadcast career along with his work as a human rights and refugee advocate have cemented him as one of Australia’s most respected former athletes.  Craig has a degree in law, sits on the Australian Multicultural Council, is a prominent anti-racism campaigner, a filmmaker and author, features in the award-winning documentary about the global #SaveHakeem campaign, The Defenders and is the 2023 NSW Australian of the Year. 

David Marr is an Australian journalist and author, having written for the Sydney Morning Herald, The Age, The Saturday Paper, The Guardian, and The Monthly, in addition to being a reporter for Four Corners and presenter on ABC’s Media Watch. David’s most recent novel, Killing for Country: A Family Story, will be published this October.
