Join Hayley Scrivenor, the award-winning novelist of Dirt Town, in conversation with international bestselling writer, Chris Hammer (Scrublands, Silver and Trust) as they discuss Hayley's stunning crime fiction debut and explore the darkness of outback noir set against unforgiving landscapes, getting beneath the dust and grit to expose the secrets that run deep in remote outback communities.

Hayley Scrivenor is a former Director of Wollongong Writers Festival. Originally from a small country town, Hayley now lives and writes on Dharawal country and has a PhD in Creative Writing from the University of Wollongong.

Chris Hammer is a leading Australian crime fiction novelist, and author of the best-selling and award-winning Martin Scarden series - Scrublands, Silver and Trust. His new novel, The Tilt, will feature homicide detectives Nell Buchanan and Ivan Lucic who appeared in Treasure & Dirt.
