Join writer and teacher Rawah Arja as she takes you to explore the Archibald Prize exhibition in the Blue Mountains Cultural Centre, and then use these amazing portraits as inspiration to create fun, big and real characters in your creative writing! What would happen if two portraits didn’t get along? Or what if they came up with a plan to make a getaway? The sky is the limit in this lively workshop for kids aged 10 – 12.

Rawah Arja is an acclaimed writer and teacher from Western Sydney. Her first YA book, The F Team, was published in 2020 and was shortlisted for the Prime Minister’s Literary Award in 2021.
