In a special Festival broadcast live from The Carrington in Katoomba, join ABC Radio Sydney’s Richard Glover for all the fun and unpredictability of the infamous TGIF (Thank God It’s Friday!). Laugh alongside a star-studded line-up, Wendy Harmer, Angela Lavoipierre and Tommy Dean, with music from the great Australian singer-songwriter Mike McClellan, and all the hilarity of the infamous Wheel of Death.
Richard Glover is one of Australia’s most recognised radio presenters, journalists and authors. Richard has authored many books, including Flesh Wounds, The Land Before Avocado and his most recent book Best Wishes. His weekly humour column has been published in the Sydney Morning Herald for over 30 years. He writes regularly for The Washington Post and presents Drive on ABC Radio Sydney.
Please arrive at 4:30pm as the event goes live at 5pm. At 6pm, Richard will interview three of the festival’s leading writers.
