A Bloody Good Chat with Tom Keneally: Talking Life, Writing and History

  • The Carrington Hotel 15-47 Katoomba Street Katoomba, NSW, 2780 Australia (map)

Much-acclaimed literary legend Tom Keneally needs no introduction. Join Tom in conversation with his long-term publisher, Meredith Curnow of Penguin Random House, for what promises to be an unmissable session. Settle in for some great storytelling, reflections on a life of writing, and observations of the world around him.

Thomas Keneally is one of Australia’s most iconic literary figures, winning almost every significant literary prize there is to be won. His works include The Chant of Jimmie Blacksmith, Schindler's Ark, The People's Train, Crimes of the Father, An Angel in Australia, The Great Shame, Corporal Hitler's Pistol and A Bloody Good Rant: My Passions, Memories and Demons.

Meredith Curnow is the publisher of the Knopf and Vintage Imprints at Penguin Random House, looking after both fiction and non-fiction, and is also a board member of Express Media, an organisation that develops, supports, and promotes young writers.

If tickets below are sold out, a number of tickets will also be sold at the door on the day. Due to wet weather, this event has now moved to the Old Library at Civic Place, Katoomba. (100 metres down the hill from The Carrington, opposite Specsavers.)
